European Academy of Computing in Law

The European Academy for Computing in Law (Europäische EDV-Akademie des Rechts – EEAR) was founded as a non-profit limited company (GmbH) by the Saarland and the German EDV-Gerichtstag e.V. It aims to connect the IT and Law sectors. The academy is acvtive in research, education and development. The EEAR offers an extensive seminar- and workshop-program, but also develops innovative applications like the database of university law that contains all important decisions with regard to university law.

In 2007 the EEAR received an award in the national "Deutschland - Land der Ideen" contest.
