The company's mission is to expand payment choices for buyers while reducing payment processing costs for sellers. Ideally suited to individual sellers and small businesses, Billpoint's suite of products does not require merchant accounts, new software, or any of the start-up expenses typically associated with traditional payment processing. The company plans to augment its credit card and electronic check payment offerings with additional products in the future.

    A service that enables customers to securely register their U.S. based bank or credit card accounts with one online resource that can be used to send and receive cash via email. It´s also possible to send money to up to 50 countries. The recipient receives a Direct Deposit or check, and doesn´t need to enroll in c2it service

    Cybercash is world leader in secure payment technologies providing a complete line of software products and services concerning credit, debit, purchase cards, cash, checks, smart cards and alternative payment types like loyalty programs.

  • DigiCash, Inc.

La signature électronique est en dernier lieu apposée sur le ticket de caisse envoyé par le commerçant en lien avec Kleline.

    The Millicent microcommerce system provides a new way to buy and sell content in very small amounts over the Internet.

  • Mondex
    Mondex offers the most technologically advanced electronic cash system in existence and its unique security architecture enables a range of functionality not offered by any other electronic cash scheme. Mondex can be used for simple, everyday cash transactions. The Mondex electronic cash system operates on a smart card - a plastic card that looks like an ordinary debit or credit card which stores information on a microchip. The microchip contains a 'purse' in which Mondex value is held electronically. The purse is divided into five separate pockets, allowing up to five different currencies to be held on the card at any one time. The microchip also contains the Mondex Security programs, which protect transactions between one Mondex card and another.

  • NetBill Central
    Consumers use a Netbill account to purchase goods. The account is pre-funded using a credit card. To purchase goods, the consumers simply select the good they want, and Netbill handles the rest through a software called the Money Tool.

    The WWW Consurtium is strongly involved into the development of e-commerce, in particular in regard to micropayments.

  • X-Pay
    X-Pay was developed by Brokat, and is based upon the e-Services Platform Twister, supporting all currently available electronic payment methods. Security is provided on a multi-tier concept and uses various authentication methods: from PIN/TAN to smart cards. The individual components are X-Pay Wallet, X-Pay Server and X-Pay Gateway. All components are SET-certified and therefore interoperable to SET software components of other vendors.


  • XMLPay
    XMLPay, developed by Verisign, is an eXtensible Markup Language (XML) specification for payment requests and responses in a distributed, Web-based transaction environment.

  • Yahoo! PayDirect
    Yahoo! PayDirect allows users to send and receive money via email.
